Languages spoken by the psychologists we list for NSW CTP support
Data compiled September 2026 from our own listings, computed at build time.
We asked a simple question of our own listing data: of the psychologists we currently list for NSW CTP (motor accident) support, how many note a language other than English on their public profile? Here is what we found, and what it does and does not tell you. See the methodology section below.
Key figures at a glance
- 50 psychologists are currently listed in this directory for NSW CTP support.
- 11 of those 50 listings have a language noted on their profile (39 have no language note on file).

- Cantonese, Croatian, Mandarin, Portuguese are the most-recorded non-English languages, each noted on 2 listings.
Languages recorded, and how often
This table counts every listing whose recorded languages include the language named, so a psychologist who speaks three languages is counted once in each row. English is recorded for all 11 listings that have any language data at all, so it is shown separately below rather than in the ranked table.
| Language | Listings noting it |
|---|---|
| Cantonese | 2 |
| Croatian | 2 |
| Mandarin | 2 |
| Portuguese | 2 |
| Bengali | 1 |
| Bosnian | 1 |
| Hindi | 1 |
| Kannada | 1 |
| Polish | 1 |
| Serbian | 1 |
| Turkish | 1 |
English: recorded on 11 of 11 listings that have any language data (1 notes English only; 10 note English alongside at least one other language).

Frequently asked questions
Do any of the psychologists in this directory speak languages other than English?
Yes. Of the 50 psychologists we currently list, 11 have a language noted on their profile, and 10 of those note at least one language other than English.
How is language information collected for this directory?
We record a language only where it is stated on the practitioner's own public practice-website profile. We do not ask practitioners directly and we do not guess, so a listing with no language noted simply means we hold no record of it, not that the practitioner only speaks English.
Does this page cover every psychologist in NSW who speaks another language?
No. This page reports only on the 50 practitioners currently listed in this directory, a convenience sample rather than a census. It says nothing about language availability among psychologists in NSW more broadly.
Can I ask for a psychologist who speaks a particular language?
There is no dedicated language filter yet. Tell us which language you are after when you get in touch, and we will pass that on when matching you with a psychologist.
Methodology and data notes
- Where the language field comes from: each listing's recorded languages are sourced from that practitioner's own public practice-website profile, the same profiles this site draws headshots, years of experience and specialty tags from elsewhere. A language is recorded only when it is stated there.
- What a missing language note means: 39 of the 50 listings have no language field at all. Many practice-website profiles simply do not list languages, so this is a gap in what we have on file, not evidence that those practitioners speak only English.
- Sample scope: this directory is a real, sourced starter set of 50 practitioners, not a full import of every SIRA-registered motor-accident treatment provider in NSW. Every count on this page is a count of OUR listings, never an estimate about psychologists in NSW generally.
- No cross-source blending: this page draws on a single source (our own listings data) and computes its figures at build time directly from that data, so the counts here cannot drift out of sync with what is actually listed elsewhere on the site.
- Badges are unrelated to language: a listing's badge (SIRA-experienced, Motor accident experience, Assessments and reports, or Confirm CTP cover) reflects what its profile documents about motor-accident work, not its language data. The two are shown together in the table above only for reference.
